About KSS

In 1986, Mort Kessler and Gary Schneider decided to leave their positions at a large accounting firm and form a boutique Business Management company built on more personal client relationships. They opened their first office in Brentwood with one secretary, two bookkeepers and a handful of clients. As their entertainment-focused clientele grew, their devotion to quality service did not equivocate. A few years later, Kessler Schneider & Co. relocated to Sherman Oaks where they remain today.

Today the staff now includes 4 partners, 6 accountants, 15 bookkeepers, 2 insurance coordinators plus administrative support while still maintaining a boutique environment. In 2018 Richard Scheltinga was elevated to Name Partner status and in 2019 Kristine Soares was named as a Principal. The firm is now proudly called Kessler, Schneider & Scheltinga.
